Last Week

Well I have been really busy with my classes this past week. It will be nice to have some much needed time off. I going to spend some time with my boyfriend before he leaves Germany and then a year long deploment. We only have a few more weeks together so this alone time will be nice. I wish that we had a little more time to recharge between terms, but in the end it will have gone by faster. I hope that who ever read this enjoyed it. I really enjoyed being able to just free write.

Best Friends

Over the past few years I have moved around a lot. I have had a few people that I would label as my best friend. More times then not that person is a guy for me. I get a long with guys a lot better then I do with women. My best friend right now is this guy Dan. He is not the big Strong type, I say this because people ask me all the time if he is gay. Not there is any thing wrong with gay people, he just happens to not be one. He has decided that he is going to pick up hunting so that people think that he is more manly. I'm going to wish him luck and pray that he doesn't shoot himself.

Going to school on line

I love going to school on line. I have gotten better grades on line then I ever have did when going to in class college. I like the fact that I'm moving this summer and I don't have stop at one school just to find another one in the area that I'm moving to. Nothing has to really change for me in my new area when it comes to school. I will have enough stress with the move, and it's very helpful not having the stress of school on top of that. I hope that the other people in my class feel the same way. I also wish them the best of luck with there schooling.

St. Patty's Day

I'm going to write about how much I love St.Patty's Day. It is my favorite holiday out of the whole year. I made sure that everyone of the kids had green on today. I have so much Irish stuff that it's not even funny. I love to go to little Irish pubs in the towns and cities that I visit. I also try to get t-shirts from the pubs if I can. I haven't gotten a new shirt this year, but I'm sure that I will get one on sale some where. I can't wait for next year, I hope to spend it in Boston with great friends.

Crazy week

I have been so busy this week. I had to send my boyfriend off to a school out west for two weeks. The kids seem to need to go every where in town. I'm happy to say that I have still found time to go to the gym and tanning every day this week. I got all of my homework done, which is always a good thing. now I'm going to take a little break from every thing and just have some me time. The weather is really nice down here so maybe I'll go for a walk outside with my dog.

Cooking

This week I'm going to talk about cooking. I love to cook and so do most of the women in my family. My grandmother's on both sides of my family have been known to cook a dish or too. I wasn't a big eater when I was younger but now a days I really enjoy eating new things. Some thing that my granny always liked to say was that 'the way to a mans heart was through his belly'. I know that she wasn't the one to come up with this saying, but I have found it to be true. All the men in the family loved her and her cooking. I try to cook for my boyfriend as much as possible, he seems to like most of the dishes so far. I haven't burnt any thing for him yet. I'm cooking ham and baked beans right now, with a side of corn bread to go along with them. The kids really seem to enjoy this for dinner.

Moving

My family and I are moving to the D.C. area this summer. We are all very happy with the idea of moving. We have been living on post at FT Polk, LA. There are five people and five pets in our family. We are need a bigger house then the one we are living in now. When moving a lot goes in to it. We have to find new a house, school for the kids, vets for the pets, pack up the house, and then drive half way across the country. I'm going to be sad to leave the friends that I made in this area, but I'm also looking forward to the ones that I'm going to make in D.C. There is a lot of good that's going to be coming out of this move, so I'm happy. My cousin is going to be going to Grad school, I'm going to be able to get a great job and the kids are going to be closer to some of their family. Maybe just maybe I'll be moving to Germany next year some time to be with my boyfriend who is getting stationed there. It's all very exciting.
